Repipe Blog
Seasonal checks, a walkthrough of how a repipe runs, and plumbing code and water news for Charlotte-area homeowners.
The repipe blog covers what changes from season to season and year to year for Charlotte-area plumbing. Level Repiping Charlotte keeps the evergreen answers in the guides; the posts here are tied to a moment.
Posts fall into four kinds. Seasonal posts cover what to do when the weather tests the pipes, such as a hard freeze. The walkthrough follows an illustrative repipe from the first call to the inspection. News posts explain changes to codes and rules, such as which North Carolina plumbing code is in force. Timing posts cover things that come around each year, such as Charlotte Water’s annual water quality report. For the work itself, start with the whole house repipe page.
