This privacy policy explains how Level Repiping Charlotte handles information on this website. Level Repiping Charlotte operates the site and offers and manages house repiping across the Charlotte area; the work is performed by licensed and insured contractors. Questions about this policy can go to the phone number or email address on the contact page.
What you send through the estimate form
The estimate and checklist forms on this site ask for:
- the service or situation you choose, and your ZIP code
- your first name and phone number
- your last name and email address, if you choose to give them
- anything you write in the message box, such as the age of the house or the pipe you have seen
Along with those details, the form sends the page you sent it from, the name of the form, and a general label for how you reached the site, such as “Direct”, “Google Organic” or “Referral”. That label is worked out in your browser from the address of the site that referred you and any campaign tags in the link. It does not include your search terms.
How the form is sent and protected
When you send the form, it goes first to a relay on this site’s own address, which forwards it to the customer relationship management system the business uses to keep track of estimate requests. Your browser never sends the form directly to that system.
To keep automated spam out, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which loads when you start filling in the form and checks that a person is sending it. Turnstile reads technical signals from your browser to make that check and is operated by Cloudflare under Cloudflare’s own privacy policy. The relay also passes along your IP address so the check can be completed.
How the information is used
The details you send are used to respond to your request: to understand the house and the problem, prepare an estimate, and arrange the work if you go ahead. To do that, the details of your request are shared with the licensed contractor who would assess the house and do the work. If you asked for the repipe planning checklist, the form records that request so the download can be released.
Your information is not sold, rented or traded, and it is not shared with anyone for their own marketing.
Phone calls
If you call (704) 452-4386, the business receives your phone number and whatever you choose to share on the call, and uses it in the same way as a form request.
Analytics
This site measures visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and general information such as the referring site, browser type and country. It does not use cookies, and it is not used to build a profile of you or to follow you across other websites.
Your browser’s session storage
The site stores two small items in your browser’s session storage: the general label for how you reached the site, so it can be sent with a form, and a note that the checklist download has already been released to you. Session storage stays in your browser and is cleared when you close the tab. The site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. The cost estimator and repipe assessment run in your browser and keep your answers there unless you choose to submit the form.
Keeping and correcting your information
Request details are kept as long as they are needed to answer your request and keep ordinary business records. You can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by calling or writing through the details on the contact page. Some records may need to be kept where the law requires it.
Children
This site is meant for homeowners and property owners. It is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect information from them.
Links to other sites
Pages on this site link to government agencies and utilities, such as Mecklenburg County, Charlotte Water and the North Carolina Office of State Fire Marshal. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.
Changes to this policy
If the way this site handles information changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. For anything else about your information, see the contact page or go back to the home page.
